Annie Grinstead started Positive Energy with one thing in mind – planning great events for terrific clients with an incredible team!
Annie’s event planning career began with her first job straight from Purdue University with Cummings Meeting Consultants. Excellent experience was obtained during a 12 year stretch as project manager and team leader. As a project manager at cmcglobal she had a full realm of responsibility which the grandest of them was her favorite which was servicing terrific clients at the best of her ability. From three suites at the Indy Super Bowl and customer program, a 30 day program in Disney, a 30 day program in Lake Tahoe, 10 years of race programs at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, countless National Sales Meetings and Association conferences….but mostly the greatest thing gained – the love of a client, the teamwork it takes between a planner and client.
Annie has many skills from A-Z planning which can be an asset to any corporate or association team. 15 years of high level of event planning allows the ability to visualize the end goal and know the proper steps to execution any event of any magnitude.
Personally Annie’s passion outside of Positive Energy revolves around her family, friends and show pigs and the livestock industry. She also loves to go out hit the links! Annie and her husband Justin and daughter Rylee reside in Greenfield on the family farm.
Leslie Young supports the Positive Energy team by managing the bookkeeping for the company. Leslie has been a part of Indy’s event community since 2003. Most recently, before joining the +e Team in 2012, Leslie acted as the Vice President for Advancement at Scecina Memorial High School. Where, in addition to events, she was responsible for managing the school’s marketing, admissions, and fundraising goals. Leslie enjoys all the little details that come together to successfully execute events.
When she is not keeping the books at Positive Energy, Leslie is home with her two preschool aged kiddos. She, her husband, and kids live in the Irvington neighborhood on the Eastside of Indianapolis, with their boxer pup and six backyard chickens.
